About Mia Siufi
With a fashion designer as a mother and an art dealer as a father, Mia Siufi has lived since childhood in an effervescent and artistic environment, close to artworks and artists. Among them, she had personal contact since childhood with Hélio Basto, Marlene Castro, Edvaldo Assis, and Yêdamaria. She has worked in the world of galleries of art for more than 16 years at the Banco de Arte (Brazilian Gallery).
Her enthusiasm and will have made her take courses in Brazil and abroad, making her an international art dealer and art collector until today. Her long-running and constant discomfort with the lack of feminine representativeness in the art market generated the courage to found Supernova Arts.
Filha de mãe estilista e pai galerista, Mia Siufi convive desde a infância num ambiente artístico efervescente e próximo a obras e artistas. Entre eles, teve contato pessoal ainda criança com Hélio Basto, Yêdamaria, Marlene Castro e Edvaldo Assis. Ingressou no mundo das galerias há mais de 16 anos na Banco de Arte.
Sua garra e vontade a fizeram realizar cursos no Brasil e no exterior, tornando-a marchande internacional e colecionadora de obras de arte até os dias de hoje. Seu antigo e constante incômodo com a falta de representatividade feminina neste mercado gerou a coragem de fundar a Supernova Arts.
